Soso builds round house for meeting

 EASTERN Highlands Governor Julie Soso was seen supervising young men from remote Marawaka in Obura-Wonenara district while building a round house at her residence in Goroka last Sunday.

Soso said all the materials including kunai to thatch the roof were brought in from Marawaka, where she has a strong bond with the people.

“I invited them to come with the materials and build the house, they will then have the opportunity to be exposed to some of the goods and services in Goroka town,” she said.

According to the young men from Marawaka, the house will be completed in three days. 

The house will be used for extra meetings and gatherings for Governor Soso and her team
