Soweni appointed as new MSME Council executive

The Micro, Small, Medium Enterprise Council (MSMEC) has appointed Roddie Soweni as its executive officer.
She will manage all its projects, programmes, agreements and events and coordinate its membership engagement nationwide.
She is supported by the national council and regional leaders for Southern, New Guinea Islands, Mamose and the Highlands.
The council has more than a thousand registered members nationwide.
Soweni’s roles include advocacy, capacity building, marketing, managing member database, engagements and administration.
Council president Des Yaninen welcomed her appointment.
“With over 10 years working experiences in the secretarial and administration arena, we are confident Soweni will deliver to the best of her ability” Yaninen said.
Soweni was previously with Certified Practicing Accountants PNG and the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce prior to joining the council.
