Sparrows prepare for open trials tomorrow

THE Credit Corporation Sparrows club of Port Moresby Netball Association will hold their open trials tomorrow from 2pm to 4pm.
All age divisions from Under-10 to Under-21 are asked to be at the Rita Flynn courts at 2pm to register their interest.
Club president Lawrence Lahari said: “After the success of 2017 with seven of our teams making the grand final, we wanted to start preparations early.
“All interested players, officials, supporters, parents are asked to come on Saturday (tomorrow) to register your interest.
“For all divisions there will be trials of 45 minutes to an hour so please bring along your change and water.”
Sparrows are the current tier 1 premier division champions in the Port Moresby Netball Association.
All interested players will be required to fill in an application form to register as Sparrows players.
All current and new players must turn up for these trials.
