Special security locks now in PNG

Business, Normal

A NEW concept for safety and security in locks is now in Papua New Guinea, made possible by Mayohardware Australia.
Exclusively sold at the KK Kingston showroom at Gordon, these locks have only been so far used by Lihir Gold Ltd.
National sales manager Steve Torpey said on Wednesday the safety lock sets were   specifically designed for use in confined work areas such as at manufacturing plants, mining and chemical environments and at industrial sectors.
He explained these special locks help to avoid electrical disasters by isolating energy while machines were being maintained, repaired or temporarily shut down.
The company is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of these special locks and heavy duty security locks for more than  80 years.
