Split in province
The National, Tuesday February 11th, 2014
DEVELOPMENT challenges in Hela stands taller than any individual and requires a united effort from those in authority, acting provincial administrator William Bando says.
Bando said Governor Anderson Agiru should stop pretending that all was well in the province and come to grips with reality.
He said the media was not a court room and leaders should not allow the nation to laugh at them for bringing out their domestic issues involving their LNG money and issues, civil service and political madness in the open.
“Agiru’s continuous and inferred defamatary remarks against me are judgemental matters for people who know me and both our commitments to Hela,” Bando said in a statement.
“It only demonstrates his reckless and arrogant leadership, bullying on the helpless in his pursuit for glory,”he said.
