PIONEER students graduated with Bachelor of Business and Management at the University of Papua New Guinea last Friday.

The 20 students of the Air Energi’s Langley graduate development programme majored in human resources management.

They were appointed as the candidates of the inaugural Langley programme early this year.

Air Energi in partnership with PNG Human Resource Institute also assisted them with training, mentoring and secondments which enabled them to complete certificate courses in human resource management and certificates in HR law practices in PNG.

After receiving their degrees they are now skilled, confident and eager to enter the workforce.

Gibson Kepao, who is one of the top students of the Langley programme and currently on job training with Air Energi doing human resource and marketing, described the training as a gateway to the workforce.

Kepao said he had gained a lot from the training.

He said Air Energi in partnership with PNGHRI had paved the way for them by providing training and job placement.

“I am more than grateful for what I have received from the sponsors and I am looking forward to joining the workforce,” he said.
