THIS refers to the letter “Customer service at St Mary’s Hospital dwindling” (June 25).

We strongly protest the negative allegations by  the writer hiding behind a pseudonym.

Based on our records, we do not have a patient by the name of “Wanbel Niapee”.

Nonetheless, our thanks go to the writer for his/her concerns for us to improve our services.

We would have appreciated it if he had reported it to the management.

The competition in the health industry of PNG is very stiff because of the booming economy.

We just hope that the writer is not out to deliberately tarnish the good image and reputation of St Mary’s, Port Moresby.

Because of our good and quality service provided to our valued patients as well as the caring touch of our doctors and nurses who are all experts in their respective fields, the number of our patients is increasing every day.

St Mary’s Medical Centre is committed to be of service to the people of PNG.
