Stage set for Ijivatari Games

 THE Ijivitari district local levelgovernment Games start today at the Dorin Memorial Park in Popondetta.

Ijivitari sports tournament executive director Gill Iagoro confirmed local MP David Arore would open the event.

Iagoro said the Arore had allocated K50,000 to stage the games and  he thanked him for recognising youths in sports development.

He said the four rural LLG teams –  Oro Bay, Afore, Safia and Tufi – were still making their way to the provincial capital.

“This will not affect the opening ceremony and the start of games as scheduled. All the teams are urged to pay their ffiliation fees of K150 per team and K2 player registration before they play” he said.
