Staggs learns from mistakes

BRISBANE: Broncos centre Kotoni Staggs is confident his questionable decision-making, which has landed him in hot water with the NRL, is all in the past as he closes in on his playing return.
Staggs has been sidelined since last year after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury late in the Broncos’ miserable 2020 season.
Despite returning to full fitness earlier this month, Staggs return to the NRL was delayed by a fortnight due to a two-match suspension and a A$20,000 (K52,000) fine for a drunken incident at a Brisbane pub in April.
That was not the only off-field drama for Staggs, who was fined A$10,000 (K26,000) for using a homophobic slur towards a patron at a pub in Dubbo in February.
He said the incidents taught him lessons and with the support of the club, his family and a psychologist he was confident off-field dramas were a thing of the past. – Yahoo Sports Australia
