THE Government will go into next year’s general election with its major policies intact and they include tuition fee free (TFF) education, Minister for Education Nick Kuman says.
He told people of remote Menyamya, Morobe, on Wednesday that other key Government policies which provided free services or subsidies included healthcare.
Kuman was invited by local MP Benjamin Philip to support the technical vocational education training (TVET) in the district.
Kuman said the Government would legislate the TFF soon so that succeeding governments would ensure free education for every student in the country enrolled in eligible schools up to Grade 12.
Prior to opening the K340,300 administration and girls’ dormitory buildings for Menyamya Vocational School, Kuman said PNG had seen an unprecedented level of development right down to the districts over the last three years which people should be proud of.
