Still no EHP administrator

THE appointment of a permanent provincial administrator for Eastern Highlands is taking too long. The people deserve improved services and infrastructure development, but that is not possible due to politics and the slowness in the system to make an appointment. The prime minister assured the people in Oct 2012 that a new administrator would be appointed by Dec. Peter O’Neill was here recently to launch the coffee rehabilitation assistance programme and he remained silent on this matter. He did not fulfill his promise. The governor must fast-track the process with the public service commission and the national executive council. A lot of money is being chanelled to provinces and districts, and we deserve a qualified administrator to work alongside provincial politicians to move EHP forward.
