Still waiting for final payment

 I WRITE to air my frustration on the intentional hold up by Telikom PNG of retrenched workers’ payout. 

It’s the same old strategy used by Telikom time and again to delay the proceedings. The last time Telikom took out a Supreme Court injunction after the National Court awarded the case in favour of retrenched workers. Two months have passed and Telikom is quiet and pretending all is well when they owe former workers some money.  The workers are praying that the Telikom board and management will be punished for this.
