WE talk about and hear of our girls and women being abused by fathers, brothers and relatives know to the victims.

These victims go to the police for assistance.

More than a month ago, a senior police officer went in civilian clothes to the Boroko Police Station under the influence of liquor and called a young police woman into his office. After some minutes the young woman came out of the office crying.

I understand a statement of complaint was given to Metropolitan Superintendent Andy Bawa.

So far nothing has been done about this matter and the concerned police officer is still performing his duties.
