Stop implementing ‘no jab, no job’ policy

WHY are companies imposing the “no jab, no job” policy on their workers?
Papua New Guineans are not dying in huge numbers.
They haven’t been since the Coronavirus (Covid-19) hit our shores in early 2020.
The Covid-19 is a global pandemic, but it is just another deadly disease in PNG.
The irony is that more Papua New Guineans are dying from tuberculosis and other diseases while our Government has gone overboard on protecting us from the Covid-19.
For whatever medical or scientific reasons, New Guinea Melanesians seem to have some sort of natural protection against diseases such as the Covid-19.
Of course, many of our people have been infected, but only some have died.
The Covid-19 is not having a devastating effect on PNG compared to other countries such as Australia.
Therefore, companies should stop instilling fear in their employees with the “no jab, no job” policy.
This policy is unconstitutional and a breach of our human rights.
