THE decision by the governor-general to rescind his earlier decision to swear in Sir Michael Somare as prime minister shows that he is honest and has no self-interest.
The Grand Chief, as a senior statesman, has been humiliated by that decision but he still insists he is the rightful prime minister.
This leads to the question of whose interest the Chief fighting for?
I think he needs to rest his body, soul and mind.
His heart is sick and the stress from the turmoil will add to the strain.
Arthur Somare must stop making use of his father for his own gain.
The younger Somare thought he had it all sewn up by retiring his father.
That was a mistake.
