Stop renting and start owning, govt

I CALL on the government to look ahead and outside the box.
Why are so many government departments renting offices throughout the country?
This is acceptable if there is no state land to build its own buildings.
The OHE incident has prompted me to write.
If the OHE has outstanding bills, then I am sure other departments are also experiencing the same problem.
I see no reason why our government cannot buy over existing buildings or build its own.
If the government cannot do either of this, then we can expect more departments to be locked out.
