Stop using bus stop shelters as stalls

Letters

IT is disgusting to see people turning Port Moresby bus stop shelters into market stalls.
It is an eyesore for the city and makes the shelters look crowded and unsafe.
Opportunists and hooligans
are easily stealing from people
and harassing them in those crowds.
All shelters should be free of any form of activities except commuters waiting to catch bus.
They should be free of people just occupying space.
The 7-Mile bus stop near the airport and the 6-Mile on near the police post are often occupied by vendors.
At the 4-Mile one, people sit there as if it’s their home.
The same can be seen at Manu Autoport bus stop and Tabari bus stop.
The authorities should address this.
