Stop vendors from selling on the road

Letters

WE still have vendors selling on the streets in Port Moresby, especially in between traffic lights.
I understand that traffic laws forbid people from selling on the road.
Those responsible are turning a blind eye to this instruction.
This, along with road safety and the adherence to traffic laws must be a top priority for the police and other relevant Government agencies.
You find a lot of vendors at the Waigani/Tokarara junction.
These vendors are putting themselves and other people at risk
Many things go wrong there – you have pedestrians running in between cars to cross the road, vendors selling their items and opportunists hanging around ready to pounce on unsuspecting vehicles.
