Storms, Bulldogs, Bulls make it to Ipatas Cup final in Lae

BORDER Storms, Mendi Bulldogs, Minj Bulldogs and Banz Bulls advanced to the Coca-Cola Ipatas Cup final after finishing in the top four of the Eastern End.
The finals between the Eastern and Western end teams will be at in Lae rugby league oval.
The Minj Bulldogs beat Chimbu’s Gumine Usimo 6-0 while Banz Bulls shut out Hagen side Togoba Magani 12-0.
The Western End winners include Port Moresby-based Border Storms, who edged Kimbe’s NBPOL Crushers 6-4.
Competition manager Timothy Lepa, pictured, said K100,000 was up for grabs along with the cup.
Patron Enga Governor Sir Peter Ipatas presented the teams gold passes.
