Strive harder, says Philips

PUBLIC servants must be committed and hardwor­king to move Papua New Guinea forward, Tourism, Culture and Art Minister Benjamin Philips says.
He said goals would not be achieved if people and stakeholders did not play their part in serving the people.
Philips said public servants did not deserve to be paid highly if their productivity level was low or non-existent.

“Public servants have t0 work hard not for themselves but for the benefit of others because you will be justly rewarded,” he said.
Philips said this at a ceremony where he over the ministry from Guma Wau who is now Defence Minister.
