FOURTH grader Danny Kaipu has won K500 and his school, Karea Primary School, in Gulf, K5,000 worth of stationery thanks to Paradise Foods Ltd’s school promotion.
Brand manager Ben George drew the winning entry in Port Moresby.
Kaipu’s entry was among 689 from Gulf.
The draw was part of the company’s promotion that saw entries from around the country win a share of K110,000.
The draw was supposed to take place early in the year but was deferred due to the state of emergency.
The Paradise Foods team travelled to Gulf and presented the money to Kaipu along with the stationery plus 10 cartons of Em Nau biscuits on June 24.
As part of the competition, Kaipu was with K500.
“Our school was devastated by the recent floods, losing most of our school stationaries and supplies and it is a huge blessing to have a winner from our school for this promotion,” senior teacher Jack Milala said.
George thanked students in Gulf who entered the competition for making it a success.
