Students to blame for uni boycott woes

Letters

The boycotts led by the student leaders from University of PNG in May-July were nasty and they should be blamed for millions worth of properties destroyed there and Unitech, and the death of a student at Unitech.
International students were badly affected and now the Government is spending millions to bring them back to school.
Now the Students’ Representative Council leaders are smart in court.
They should be held responsible – SRC constitutions should be amended and student behaviours controlled.
Having democratic rights does not mean anyone can lead destruction at any time you like.
Three Unitech students who allegedly murdered another student, had no respect and that should not be tolerated.
