Students donate items to schools

FIVE schools in Rabaul, East New Britain, have received K10,000 worth of items donated by the ENB Students Association of the Lae Polytec College.
They are Boisen Secondary School, Malaguna, St Joseph, Waterhouse and the Sikut Matupit Primary school.
They received computer sets, books and stationery.
Boisen Secondary also received a public address (PA) system.
Deputy district administrator Babel Umbri thanked the college students for their donation, although some of them had not benefitted from district tuition fee free subsidy. He urged them to continue such initiatives.
A similar donation by the University of PNG ENB Students Association last year was distributed to selected primary schools.
The students raised funds during ENB Day last year.
