GRADES 10 and three students of the St Joseph’s International Catholic College and Ted Diro Primary School will take part in financial literacy training facilitated by the Bank South Pacific Financial Group Ltd (BSP). It is part of BSP’s banking education programme launched yesterday.
Students will take part in lessons on budgeting and savings, and open Kids Savings and Sumatin accounts with the bank. Banking education officer Naomi Sion said the training would help students learn how to manage money.
The students will be given certificates after completing the programme.
Letters will be given to their parents to open their accounts.
