Students must work hard for a degree

 STUDENTS must commit 100 per cent of their time to studies in order to achieve a degree of high quality, University of PNG vice chancellor Prof  Albert Mellam says.

He told the North Waghi students at the University of PNG that people investing their time and money in them hoped to see them achieve great things in life.

“It is a huge investment as the Minister for Defence, Fabian Pok not only has foresight but vision in investing in human resources on behalf of the students of North Waghi and PNG as a whole,” Mellam said.

He said it was critical for Pok to have his development agenda right at the top for human resource development.
