THIS is an urgent open letter to the member for Unggai-Bena District written in the hope that he will snap into action and save hundreds of potential tertiary students from his district. There are thousands of potential students that cannot get into tertiary institution because their parents and guardians cannot afford the high fees.Your officers on the ground are telling the poor parents that your office will chip in K500.00 only if parents chip in K1000.00. What utter nonsense policy. Please pay K2000 for each student in tertiary institution to subsidise the huge cost of educating young people from your district.
