PARADISE High School students recently promoted the beautiful and diverse cultures of Papua New Guinea in an international arena.
The school was invited by the International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) to perform art in a stage show at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Oct 26.
Two grade nine and three grade 11 students were selected after auditions. The students practised under the supervision of Ellen Mesibere, a professional artist, for a month and a half.
The students travelled to Melbourne on Oct 22 and practised until the event with other participants.
The event was sponsored by the Sirius College in Melbourne.
Around 100 students from 16 countries took part.
