Students run successful campaign

EAST Sepik university students have successfully completed career awareness campaigns in most secondary and high schools in the province just before the close of the academic year this month.
Spokesperson Gerry Yapasi said the schools covered were Mercy, Brandi, Brugam, Maprik, Bishop Leo, St Marceline and St Xa­vier’s.
He said other high schools were not covered due to lack of resources to extend awareness campaigns.
The awareness included:
l    Courses offered at Unitech, UPNG, DWU, UOG and UNRE;
l    Entry requirements and quotas;
l    Student discipline and expected behavior towards their studies; and
l    University life.
Yapasi said the awareness were to guide students make the right choices to courses offered at the universities.
