STUDENTS have been told to have positive minds in order to be successful in life during a chat room on Tribe FM in Port Moresby on Wednesday.
The radio programme was based on the topic The importance of positive young minds. The discussions between five students from the Don Bosco Technical School, were based on various aspects and the students shared their experiences to motivate others.
During the session, the students encouraged young people to define and develop a positive mind and apply themselves daily in order to have success.
Grade 11 electrical technology student Tim Aero defined a positive mindset as the mentality to strive for success.
“It is about struggling to be the best version of yourself and inspiring others to aspire to greater and higher ambitions,” he said.
Machining student Gideon Kaluwin explained that the practice was essential to develop a positive mindset in a young person.
