STUDENTS and teachers of Anglicare Elementary School in Kokopo, East New Britain, have received 100 desks from Bank of South Pacific Financial Group Ltd (BSP).
The BSP team, led by chief executive officer Robin Fleming, delivered the desks to the school yesterday.
The desks cost K30,000.
During the presentation, BSP Kokopo branch manager Joe Makinta said his branch had delivered 12 projects costing K310,000 to the people of ENB over the last 12 years.
“We all know, the Government cannot fulfil all our infrastructure needs, therefore, BSP, as a responsible corporate entity and people’s bank under its community obligation policy, is giving back to the communities to assist and improve the lives of people in PNG,” he said.
