THERE is a second chance out there for students, Wewak Christian College principal Freddy Benguma says.
“We can see light when we are given second chance,” Benguma told students and parents at the 10th Grades 10 and 12 graduation.
He said they would still have chances in life and the students who did not make it through other levels in education must not give up because they still had second chances.
“Schools such as Wewak Christian College are here to give a second chance to students,” Benguma said.
He said since the school started in 2002, about 400 students had graduated from the school and were now in tertiary institutions and some were now employed.
He said this was based on the theme “Laying a good foundation through balance and quality education for our children for advanced learning”.
School chaplin Pastor Robert Augustine told the students if the education system could not allow them through, “God will take you through … just pray to Him”.
