Students told to ‘manage life well’

A SCHOOL principal says one of the hardest things to achieve in life is self-development.
Bayune Lutheran High School principal Reverend Christopher told Grade Eight students it was hard to get rid of the bad things in life.
“Change yourself and your world. The hardest work is working on yourself,” he said.
“Cut unnecessary things and start managing your life well. You are a slave to yourself,” he said.
Elap was chief guest at the presentation of Grade Eight certificates at Hompiri Primary School in Bulolo, Morobe, last Friday.
He told the students to imitate successful people in life.
“Get to know more about successful or good people in your community and follow them,” he said.
Elap said three things to treasure in life were integrity, honesty and responsibility.
“Integrity has to be part of your life, and honesty must prevail all the time. Our communities are not responsible today. Many working class people just want to get paid without doing anything. Learn to be responsible. People don’t work hard but expect fulfilment,” he said.
“Work hard to get paid or have food to eat. Give back to the society by working hard.”
The 76 Grade Eight students received attainment certificates last Thursday.
