THE International Training Institute (ITI) in Port Moresby is encouraging students to take up degree courses at the Acharya Bangalore B-school in India.

Australian College of Business and Management chief executive officer Peter O’Hanlon, who spoke at a seminar organised by the ITI last Saturday, said PNG was at the beginning of a new era and needed educated people who could develop the nation.

He said this was an opportunity for students as the ABBS offered international standard programmes.

“We are looking at providing an opportunity for students who have missed out on further studies,” he said.

“This will not only benefit the students but the country as a whole.”
