Students using reading skills to spread God’s word

STUDENTS from a private school in Western have used their reading skills to spread the Word of God in Kiunga.
The Cross Country School of Excellence Early Learners pupils relayed messages of hope to the public through Bible readings and gospel songs.
Bible readings were taken from Genesis 1:26-27 and John 1:1 which stressed that everyone must carry the image and likeness of God in their daily lives.
The children also explained that all creation came from God through the Word and people should embrace the word of life in the Bible.
The school’s principal director, Elias Wranga, said the programme was not only to shape the students spiritually but also to help them build their confidence in public speaking.
“Even though students have the knowledge, relaying the message verbally was a difficult task. This is a way forward for the children to break out of their natural hindrance.
