Substandard products

Letters

MANY products sold in Asian shops are sub-standard and do last long.
The benefits are not much.
They use expensive brand names on their products to grab the customers’ attention but the quality is sub-standard and not durable.
The lifespan of the products is shorter than what it appears to be.
We cannot live sub-standard life.
We want to live the kind of life like those in Australia and New Zealand.
It is up to us, the citizens of this country, to carefully choose the products and services we need.
We cannot chase them out of our country because they contribute positively to our economy.
It is the challenge for the Government of the day to look into this issue and come up with the right policies.
