Suggestion for political parties

Letters

Laws governing political parties, in terms of endorsing candidates, must be changed to give our womenfolk more opportunities to win the seat they are contesting.
The law has to be changed to give a political party the ability to endorse one male and one female candidate, under their party banner, for all 111 seats.
The result will be left in the hands of the voter.
I believe in this way, we can vote more women into Parliament instead of creating reserved seats.
Gender equality in elections will no longer be an issue and give our women, who are brave enough to contest, a fair chance at winning.
