DAKABENG Sunday School in Kwepunung Lutheran Parish in Boana Disrict, Nawaeb, graduated 50 students this month.
The main aim of the school is to get children to know God’s words.
They are taught to put God first in everything they do to become better citizens in the community.
On Sept 22, 21 students graduated with certificates in Christian education.
The programme consisted of book 3 elementary level, book 6 lower primary and book 9 upper primary level subjects.
Kwepunung parish pastor Darryl Sam, said: “The children who go through this training will have better understanding of what is expected of them to make them better citizens.”
Acting Parish president Gere Kukak said the graduation was another milestone.
He thanked all Sunday school teachers in the six congregations, parents and others who have supported the programme.
“It is a contribution of efforts by all that we are able to see our children given recognition by the congregation,” he said.
Kudak said this would help these children know more about God and the importance of having him in their lives.
