Support continues for Kila to achieve legal eagle dream

For three years, RH Foundation Inc and lawyer Mal Varitmos have been supporting Isabella Kila study law at the University Of Papua New Guinea.
After learning of her inspirational story through an article in The National newspaper, the co-sponsors met with Kila and her family and explored ways to help.
A few months later, Kila was enrolled and on her way to achieving her dream of becoming a human rights lawyer.
According to the article in The National last year, Kila, from Central, was born with a rare medical condition which left her without arms.
But she was determined to achieve her dreams.
RH Foundation Inc and Varitmos are providing financial assistance and mentoring.
Isabella completed her second year with good marks.
This year, the cost of tuition, boarding and lodging fees for Kila at UPNG is K14,011.
The Kila family paid K3000 while Mal Varitmos paid 20 per cent.
On behalf of James Lau, the managing director of the RH Group, the RH Foundation general secretary J K Balasubramaniam wishes Kila success in her studies this year.
