IT is a blessing and a dawn of development for the so-called back pages of Southern Highlands when the prime minister and the Works Department pledged a road to the people of Kuare. This shows that the government under Peter O’Neill’s leadership do love and care for the people. In Kuare, there is no mining or agricultural activities that can generate income. However, landowners living next to the road are stopping the construction, demanding for payment. I plead to the people of Tindua to allow and support the construction so that we can do away with our struggles of waking up as early as 4am to push our vehicles on pilot tracks.
