Support Tavur, fans told

 BUSINESS houses in West New Britain have been urged to support the Tavur Football Club. 

Kita Security Services managing director, Joseph Agara made the call after presenting K2,000 to the club in Kimbe recently.

Agara said businesses should support the province’s flag carrier in the Telikom National Soccer League. 

He commended the club management for having the vision to initiate such a project with the backing of the provincial government. 

Tavur FC executive officer, Benjamin Malios said although the franchise was unable to make the play-offs in its debut season, preparations for a much better side in 2014 had started.
