TWO people were arrested over a suspected sorcery-related killing at Kavieng town last week, police say.
Police commander Superintendent Gideon Ikumu said the victim was killed in Lokolo village and the relatives suspected the death of their son was sorcery-related and demanded the police to arrest the suspect. The suspect had been charged with murder.
“We got two suspects on the same day after the death and they are in the police custody,” Ikumu said.
He said investigation was straightforward as there were a lot of witnesses and evidence.
Ikumu said the deceased was in his 20s.
