WOMEN and children living in the rural areas will continue to receive essential health care services from Susu Mamas (PNG) through the support of partners and shareholders.
Susu Mamas Port Moresby branch health facility manager Master Teddy said this after Puma Energy signed an agreement to provide logistical support to the organisation for two years.
“It’s the support that drives us forward to continue delivering much-needed health services to women and children in rural communities and urban centres,” he said.
“Puma Energy has given us the access cards for fuel and lubricants for the next two years to continue to bring health service to the people.”
Teddy said mothers and babies were dying because of a lack of basic health care.
Susu Mamas treasurer Dianne Peliokai said Puma’s support saw many women and children receiving health care.
