LOCAL airline company Travel Air will introduce new and improved flight schedules and open new ports to meet customer demand.

Acting chief executive officer Captain Emmanuel Kadiko said: “A new three-aircraft schedule effective May 6 will improve scheduled flights for Travel Air passengers.

“Travel Air will eliminate experiences of flight delays and cancellations experienced by passengers when introducing a more reliable schedule,” he said.

“The airline was capable as a result to meet the growing air travel demand from the travelling public.

“Other changes expected to occur because of the permanent schedule include direct flights from Madang to Port Moresby and return, reviewing of current routes to provide more affordable air fares and opening of new ports namely Alotau, Vanimo and Popondetta,” he said.

Kadiko said passenger satisfaction and the need for affordable air travel had been Travel Air’s concern since it came into operation.
