 TABLES were turned over the long weekend with Hebou Shield cricket’s bottom three teams beating the top three teams. 

Tony Ura and Sese Bau scored blistering centuries for their respective sides with Gia Kapa claiming amazing figures of 6/29 to round off an entertaining weekend of cricket.

In the match of the round, Brian Bell Bulldogs recorded a thrilling last-over victory over competition pace setters, BSP Hearts. 

Hearts, Ura belted a massive 139 from 99 balls to set up their innings of 222. 

Ura’s blazing century included 22 fours and a six but it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs fought back from being 6/89 to claim victory in the last over. 

Andrew Hicks (90 not out) was the hero of the day as he hit the required 11 runs of the last over to hand Bulldogs a thrilling two-wicket victory which keeps them in the hunt for the finals.

The competition heads into the last round this weekend before the finals next weekend.  

Results: Marlins  (123/2) beat Hammers (122) by 8 wickets; Digara 267/8 beat Jets (53) by 214 runs.
