Taekwondo gets funds

 TAEKWONDO PNG hosts its Olympic qualifying tournament tommorrow.

Doubts surrounding the readiness of the hosts to stage the event were eased on Tuesday evening with intervention from Sports Minister Justin Tkatchenko through the PNG Sports Foundation.

Tkatchenko issued a directive for the Foundation to accommodate TPNG’s request. Funding support of K75,000 was then committed and approved for disbursement.
