 THE National Capital District Taekwondo Association is now embarking on promoting its Golden Kicks tournament circuit on the March 29- 30 in Port Moresby. 

The Stones Taekwondo Inc has initiated the new concept to develop all forms of martial arts in NCD, Central and Gulf.

This new concept in the sport of martial arts circuit consists of 10 monthly tournaments culminating in a grand slam in December.

The theme of the Golden kicks is “Stay Strong – Kick Drugs out of PNG”. NCD Taekwondo will use the Golden Kicks circuit to select the NCD Taekwondo Team as part of Team NCD for the 2014 PNG Games in Lae later this year.

Master Jamuga Stone, the tournament director and promoter of the Golden Kicks is inviting all NCD Taekwondo clubs to participate in this event.

 Strone is also inviting neighbouring Central and Gulf taekwondo clubs to participate so they can identify their potential fighters for the 2014 PNG Games.

Master Stone does not want any politics to be associated with the event. 

“Golden Kicks is a new concept and all clubs must embrace this new tournament circuit,” he urged.

“Monthly tournaments will keep all fighters in good physical shape and at the same time improves their fitness and skills to the next level”

He said registration for  Challenge 1 will be open from March 19 -26.
