A BRUTAL encounter is on the cards when Hekari Tarangau and a fired-up Defence lock horns in round four of the Port Moresby premier league challenge at the Lloyd Robson Oval on Sunday.
It will be a test of two glamour clubs – Tarangau from Bomana have already shown signs of improvement in their attack which has resulted in their hard-earned victory over cellar dwellers PRK Souths in their last outing.
The match winners for the warders, Charles Onguglo, Brian Apo and Sodiac Auri will be again leading from the front while Enock Maki is expected to fire with his bulldozing runs for the soldiers.
He will be backed by evergreen halfback Nicky Omaro.
After their heavy beating by newcomers Kone Storms in the last round, former PNG Kumuls forward, Tara Gau’s boys from Porebada, Maiari Eagles will clash with Kavo West at the Lloyd Robson Oval this afternoon.
In an interview earlier this week Tara Gau said the Eagles were in rebuilding process and will be definitely face tough challenges against the top teams in competition.
However, Gau has a lot of trust in his young boys and believes they will make an impact in their encounter on Sunday against the Gulf men.
