Tato appeals to Supreme Court
The National, Thursday February 4th, 2016
THE Goroka National Court on Monday ordered an adjournment of the hearing of amalgamated restraining order following a Supreme Court appeal by sidelined provincial administrator Solomon Tato.
When parties appeared before Justice Hitelai Polume-Kiele, she gave orders for the adjournment to the registry because Tato filed a Supreme Court Appeal on the decision of January 26, 2016, sitting. The judge earlier ordered Tato and acting provincial administrator with Governor Julie Soso that two restraining orders they obtained separately in Goroka and Waigani National Courts in December last year be amalgamated and heard on February 2, on Tuesday.
However, Tato filed a Supreme Court appeal although the matter had not been heard and it was set to return before the Supreme Court.
