Teachers to get EquiTV skills

 SELECTED primary school teachers in Sandaun’s Telefomin district will undergo a week-long training on the EquiTV programme next week.

EquiTV,  enhancing quality in teaching through television, is run by the Education Department, Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and provincial governments.

Standards officer and training coordinator  in Telefomin Ambert Ombert said the 27  teachers had been selected from the four sub districts. 

They would return and become trainers to teachers when the programme is rolled out to the four local level governments in the district.

The training would cover topics such as the introduction of EquiTV and how to implement it.
