Teaching Service Commission

Letters

THE Teaching Service Commission (TSC) has not paid out its teachers who served less than 15 years when they exited.
According to the chairman, they served less than 15 years.
The Teachers Service Act of 1998, Consolidated to No 20 of 1995, does not specify this under any chapters or sections of subsections.
Is this legal and in compliance with public service regulations and labour and industrial laws of PNG?
The TSC legal officer and chairman must explain and quote relevant sections of the act that stipulate this application.
How can teachers not be paid their finish pay after serving
the State for nine, 10, 12 or 14 years?
This does not make sense.
